GRADES 3 and 4
A Departmentalized Program in the Intermediate Grades
At the heart of a school is the curriculum it offers its students.
As young learners enter Grades 3 and 4, they experience the opportunity
to work with teachers who specialize in the curricular areas of
mathematics, science, English, and social studies. In addition, there are
classes in religion, reading, spelling, and art taught by the homeroom teacher; classes in computer science, library, music, and physical education
are taught by specialists in those areas of learning.
